Configuration

Settings and Sync

The Settings tab controls local save location, capture mode, multiple-device behavior, app privacy settings, and optional Copley Running account features.

Settings Sections

Section Feature
Save Location Shows the current folder and allows choosing a different default folder.
Race Capture Switches the clock capture button between Voice Note and Video Camera.
Multiple Devices Turns on paired-device timing and chooses what this device captures.
Account Optional sign-in for users who publish or sync with Copley Running.

Multi-Device Roles

Role Behavior
Mile 1 Starts the shared race clock, captures 1-mile splits, and publishes start and split data when configured.
Mile 2 Polls for the Mile 1 start time, starts from the shared start, and captures 2-mile splits.
Video Only Pairs with the race but locks split controls so the device can be used as a camera.

Optional Copley Running Integration

The app can be used entirely without a Copley Running account.

When signed in and a meet or race is loaded, the app can publish timing sessions, upload split CSV data, and upload race videos.

The app should avoid showing sign-in instructions to users who are only using local timing and file saving.

Lock Screen and Live Activity

When the race clock is running, the app can display the running clock in a Live Activity on the lock screen and Dynamic Island.

When the clock is reset to zero, the Live Activity is stopped.
