Copley Senior Night

September 25, 2025 •

The annual Golden Spike Meet brought another chapter to the storied rivalry between Copley and Revere, with both teams battling hard across the course. This year, Revere reclaimed the Golden Spike trophy, ending Copley’s hold after our victory in 2024.

Despite the outcome, our boys ran with pride and heart — leaving it all out there on Senior Night for Ian Schlarb, Mike Shu, and Al Ali. 👏

🔥 Brayden Malpass took 1st overall in 16:45, continuing his outstanding season, with Al Ali (17:00) and Owen Frazee (17:52) sweeping the top three individual spots early in the race. Zack Dodson (18:44), Antonio Rodriguez (18:47), Aiden Tufts (18:52), and Ian Schlarb (19:10) rounded out the varsity lineup — showing strong effort and pack running through the middle and late stages.

Though the Golden Spike heads back to Revere this year, the Copley boys showed grit, unity, and determination on a special night honoring our seniors and the program’s continued tradition of excellence.

💙 Thank you to our seniors — Ian, Mike, and Al — for your leadership, commitment, and the legacy you’ve left in the Copley XC family. 💛

Copley Senior Night

September 25, 2025 •

The Copley Girls Cross Country team ran with heart and pride at this year’s Golden Spike Meet — the annual rivalry showdown with Revere. Despite a strong showing, the Golden Spike trophy returns to Revere this season after Copley’s victory in 2024.

🔥 Kaylee Ingratta led the way once again, claiming 1st overall in 19:45, continuing her incredible senior campaign. Ava Capper (21:57) and Claire Ingersoll (22:45) followed close behind to sweep the top three individual spots early. Sienna Harris (23:30), Leah Habel (23:37), Peyton Domers (23:39), and Anna Allbaugh (23:40) rounded out the lineup — racing in a tight pack and showing great depth and teamwork.

This meet also marked a special Senior Night for Leah Habel, whose leadership, consistency, and positive energy have made a lasting impact on the Copley XC program. 💙

While the Golden Spike heads back to Revere, the girls showed tremendous fight and unity — honoring their senior and carrying forward the pride, tradition, and spirit that define Copley Cross Country.

💛 Proud of our athletes — every race, every stride, every moment matters. 💙
