💙💛 Copley Boys Punch Ticket to Regionals! 💛💙
For the second straight season, the Copley Boys Cross Country Team is headed back to the OHSAA Regional Championships, continuing their rise among Northeast Ohio’s top Division II programs.
The boys battled through a competitive District field at Lorain County Community College, led by standout performances from Brayden Malpass (7th, 17:05) and Al Ali (12th, 17:18) — both finishing inside the top 15 to set the tone for the team.
Behind them, Zackary Dodson (80th), Owen Frazee (81st), Griffin Morrison (97th), Ian Schlarb (108th), and Antonio Rodriguez (117th) held strong through a tough middle pack to seal the team’s Regional Qualifier spot.
This marks another milestone for a deep, hard-working roster that has developed into a consistent postseason contender. With momentum on their side, the boys now turn their attention to Boardman, ready to compete and represent Copley with pride.
Congratulations, boys — back-to-back Regional Qualifiers! 💪 #CopleyXC #TeamFirst #RoadToState
