Quick Reminders

  • You CAN move workouts around during the week. You can’t drag them on the calendar yet, but if you need to shift days, go for it β€” just be sure to mark what you complete.
  • Do NOT stack two hard workouts back-to-back.
  • Hard workouts include: Long Runs, Tempos, Fartleks, Aerobic Repeats, Track Workouts, and Progression Runs.
  • Rule of thumb: Easy + Strides = NOT a hard workout | Others probably are.
You may always substitute a run with cross training if weather or scheduling makes more sense. Good options include biking 🚴, swimming 🏊, elliptical, and more.

On hard days, make sure you challenge yourself. You are supposed to sweat β€” and it is supposed to be difficult.

πŸ“ Workout Self Evaluation

When you mark a workout complete, you will now be asked to complete a Workout Self Evaluation.

  • How you felt during the run
  • Your perceived effort (RPE)

This is similar to Garmin’s self-evaluation feature. Over time, this data will help us better understand training response and train smarter.

Weather is now built directly into the calendar view. You’ll see:

  • Daily high / low temperatures
  • A quick-glance weather emoji

This allows for faster planning and may prompt you to check hourly conditions when deciding when to run.
